Inter-Club Relay Championships
Held at Wolverhampton Baths, Sunday
20th June 2010
It was great to see Oldbury competing with 4 teams at the County
Relays this weekend; there were
some great performances, all the kids held their own in what was
a very tough competition. Each team
competed in both a medley relay and a Freestyle relay in heats,
with some making finals, five in total.
Our open swimmers whose combined age was closer to the 125yr +
teams than those they were
competing against not only had luck on their side, but ability
as well, which got them into the finals to
everyone’s surprise - especially theirs. Both the male 9/10yr
and 11/12yr teams also made it into the finals.
Our aim for next year is to build on this achievement and enter
a team for all age groups.
A big well done to everybody that entered.

each achieved one PB.
Harry withers, Rachel Turton, Harry Foster each achieved two Pb’s.
